NEW Adults with Type 1 Diabetes program
31 Jan 13
In partnership with Diabetes Australia Vic, RealTime Health have produced a new program focussing on living with type 1 diabetes as an adult.
The program features six people living with the condition and one partner. They share the ways that they are able to manage the condition, as well as some of the challenges they face.
Type 1 diabetes is often mistaken for type 2, among people unfamiliar with the difference. It is important to know that type 1 diabetes is not lifestyle related, and there is nothing that can be done to prevent it. It can, however, be managed with insulin and diet.
